WD Offers 2 Terabyte My Book Drives

April 15, 2009: Western Digital (WD) has expanded its My Book family of external hard drives to include a 2 TB capacity, the largest available capacity in a single-drive system.

The new drive is available in Home, Essential and Studio Editions for Windows and as a special Mac Edition for Macintosh computers (RRP $649). Prices of the Windows Editions range from $699 to $749. It comes with continuous backup software and high-speed eSATA and FireWire 400 as well as USB 2.0 interfaces. For more information, visit www.westerndigital.com.
