Verbatim Introduces Ultra-fast CompactFlash PRO Series Cards

July 7, 2008: Verbatim has released a new "PRO Series" range of high performance CompactFlash cards designed for professional photographers.

Available from mid-July in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities, the new cards are designed to withstand the tough demands of
high-end professional photographers, who work under extreme conditions.  Read and write speeds of up to 45MB per second allow users to capture large amounts of picture data using rapid continuous shooting. They also offer fast file saving and immediate access to saved pictures. Verbatim's 8GB CompactFlash Memory Card can store up to 2000 photos in JPEG format at a resolution of 12 megapixels, or up to 200 pictures in raw data formats.

A 16GB card will be released later this year. For more information, visit www.verbatim.com.au.
