Sony's New Digital Picture Frame

October 3, 2008: Sony's first high resolution S-Frame Digital Photo Frame, the DPFV900, goes on sale in Australia this month.

The glossy black finish makes it an attractive desk or living room accessory and it comes with 512MB of internal memory that can hold up to 1,000 images at 1.5 megapixels and display them in 15:9 aspect ratio. The large 9-inch wide LCD screen renders detailed images with offers four display modes: slide show, clock and calendar, still image and index. A built-in Auto Orientation Sensor automatically rotates images when the photo frame is set in either a portrait or landscape position.

Sony's BIONZ image processor drives Auto Correction and Face Detection technology to improve photos by removing red eye from flash shots and correcting any under or over exposed pictures. All the functions of the digital photo frame can be operated by the compact remote control, while HDMI connectivity allows you to display images and slide shows on a compatible HD TV in 1080p resolution.

The DPFV900 is compatible with Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Pro Duo, Compact Flash, SD Memory Card, MMC and xD-Picture Card. RRP for the DPFV900 is $379. For more information, phone Sony on 1300 720 071 or visit www.sony.com.au.
