Sanyo Introduces new Eneloop Quick Charger Set

March 22, 2010: Sanyo's new NCMQR06 Eneloop quick charger will be available next month through leading camera stores throughout Australia.

The new charger is supplied with four AA batteries that are ready to use straight off the shelf. Eneloop batteries can be charged like a conventional rechargeable battery, offering up to 1000 charge cycles before they need replacing. Once charged batteries maintain 90% of their charge for six months and up to 75% after three years (when fully charged). This makes the batteries ideal for users who don't use a product regularly and don't want to charge it before using. They are also handy for photographers who want to use stored camera equipment.

Both AA and AAA size batteries can be charged as a group or individually. Independent circuits automatically detect the charging condition of each. The NCMQR06 Eneloop quick charger provides an LED light for each slot so users know when each battery is fully charged. It also includes a protection timer, which automatically switches the NCMQR06 off after 270 minutes to prevent overcharging the batteries.

Multi voltage AC 100-240 capability enables the NCMQR06 to be used in any country in the world by simply plugging a travel adapter onto the unit. The Sanyo NCMQR06 will be available from April at Battery World, Cameras Direct, Camera House, Digital Camera Warehouse, Leading Edge, Michaels Cameras, Paxtons and Ryda Dot Com.  For more information, visit www.sanyo.com.au
