SanDisk Launches Fast MS Pro-HG Duo Card

October 9, 2008: SanDisk will release its fastest Memory Stick card locally this month.

Designed to offer faster read and write speeds for PRO-HG capable Sony digital SLRs (such as the new Alpha 900 model), point-and-shoot cameras and digital camcorders, the new SanDisk Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo supports read and write speeds of 30 megabytes (MB) per second.  SanDisk Extreme III cards are capable of functioning in extreme temperatures, from -13 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit or -25 to 85 degrees Celsius, and carry a lifetime warranty. The cards also come with RescuePRO software for recovering deleted images.

The 4GB capacity card carries an RRP of $118, while the 8GB card will sell for $210. For more information, visit www.sandisk.com.
