Profoto D1 Air Studio Flash Units
March 26, 2009: The new Profoto D1 Air provides photographers with a compact, durable studio flash system that is fully digitally controlled.

Available in 250, 500 and 1000 Watt versions, the flash heads offer a seven-stop power range and include a dual mode SMPS capacitor with charging technology that ensures flash-to-flash precision in colour and light output. A built-in reflector provides full control over light distribution and minimises stray light. The flash heads are also designed for use with softboxes, umbrellas and additional reflectors.

Remote triggering is supported from distances op to 300 metres and the system can be connected to a Windows or Macintosh computer for full system control. The D1 Studio Kit is contains a basic studio setup, including two D1 stands, two small white umbrellas, one D1 Kit Case and two  D1 heads. Three Light Shaping tool kits are also available.
