May 1, 2009: Photo Clam tripod ball heads are now available in Australia through local reseller, Cameras Direct.
Designed and manufactured in Korea, these tripod heads are built to high levels of precision and models are available to suit all types of photographers. The entry-level Photo Clam PC-30N (RRP $201) weighs less than 300 grams but will securely support up to 30 kilograms. Featuring an Arca-Swiss type clamp, thumbwheel control over all planes of rotation and a panorama base, it fits into a closed hand.

The top-of-the-range model, the Photo Clam PC-74NS (RRP $681) weighs only one kilogram but is capable of supporting up to 100 kg. It features a Multi-Functional Grip, One Touch Safety Button, easy-to-use plate clamp and a standard 3/8-inch socket that enables it to be fitted to a wide range of tripods.
