Nikon Reduces Camera Prices
November 1, 2006: Nikon Australia has reduced the prices of a number of its popular DSLR cameras and announced new prices for the latest Coolpix models.

In the DSLR line-up, the 12.4-megapixel D2Xs body will sell for $7,699.00, the 10.2-megapixel D200 body is priced at $2,499.00, the recently-released D80 body remains at $1,799.00 and the 6.1-megapixel D70s will sell for $1099.00. Pricing for the Coolpix L4, L3 and S6 models has been revised, with the L4 now selling for $199, the L3 for $249 and the S6 for $499. The new Coolpix L6 and L5 models are priced at $329 and $499 respectively, while the Coolpix S9 sells for $449, the Coolpix S8 for $599, the Coolpix S7 and Coolpix S10 for $649 each.
