New Lowepro Camera Bags

May 10, 2011: Lowepro has launched a range of new products suitable for every type of camera enthusiast.

The Photo Sport 200 AW backpack (RRP $219) is available in orange and black and designed for active photographers who enjoy adventure sports and want to travel fast and light. Multiple adjustment points allow the pack to be customised to provide a comfortable fit on almost any body. Weighing 1.3 kilograms, it can accommodate a DLSR camera with lens attached, flash and other small accessories, hydration reservoir (not included); personal items such as a hat, light jacket, trekking or ski poles, snack, mobile phone, keys, etc.

Lowepro's Photo Sport Sling 100 AW (RRP $149) is a slightly smaller and lighter backpack that weighs only 800 grams and accommodates a standard DSLR with kit lens, flash and personal items. A quick-grab handle provides an additional carrying option and reflective piping improves the wearer's visibility in foggy, rainy, snowy and dark conditions.

Both these backpacks are available in orange and black and both come with built-in all-weather covers. Made from ultra-lightweight, resilient and high-performance technical fabrics, they feature a contoured, adventure-pack construction with dual compartments to accommodate camera gear and personal equipment.   The patent-pending Ultra-Cinch Camera Chamber protects camera gear in a padded and secure compartment and helps prevent it from bouncing while you're moving.

The new StreamLine 100 shoulder bags (RRP $49) are purpose-built to fit and protect a compact system camera, plus extra accessories. Available in black or red, they have an extra-wide zippered opening with U-shaped pulls that provides easy access to the interior. Protective and convenient features include: padded interiors with an adjustable divider to fit an extra lens or other accessory; soft brushed tricot lining in a contrasting colour; built-in memory card pocket and a built-in microfibre cleaning cloth for lens and LCD screen.

Three new colours (Black, Pewter Grey and Twilight Blue) have been added to the options for the Volta series of pouches, which is available in two sizes, the Volta 10 (RRP $18.95) and Volta 20 ($19.95).
