October 29, 2009: Lensbaby has updated its Optic Swap System with the addition of new Fisheye and Soft Focus optics and a combination step-up ring/lens shade.
The Lensbaby Fisheye Optic (RRP $249) features an ultra-wide 12mm focal length capable of capturing a 160 degree angle photograph that is focused from infinity right down to 2.5cm. It comes with a system of interchangeable aperture disks, with possible aperture settings ranging from f/4 to f/22. The Soft Focus Optic (RRA $149) works with Lensbaby's Creative Effects SLR camera lenses, the Composer, Muse and Control Freak, providing an attractive softening effect.
Lensbaby's Step Up/Shade (RRP $49) is a combination step-up ring/lens shade that can be screwed into the front of Lensbaby lenses and allows 52mm filters to be fitted.
