New J-series Digicams from Fujifilm

September 3, 2009: Fujifilm has added two new models, the FinePix J27 and FinePix J30, to its slimline, point-and-shoot digicam line-up.

Only 20 mm thick with a 2.7-inch LCD monitor and high quality 3x optical zoom lens, both models come with Scene Recognition Auto and Face Detection technology with Automatic red-eye removal. The FinePix J27 comes with a 10-megapixel sensor, while the FinePix J30 has a 12-megapixel sensor. Both cameras include a Panorama Mode which works seamlessly to stitch together three consecutive shots to produce one panoramic photograph. They also offer a Picture Stabilisation Mode and support ISO sensitivity up to 3200 (at 3MP). Movie recording at 30 frames per second with sound is also available.

Accessories for the FinePix J27 and FinePix J30 include a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery and charger; AC Adapter, Strap; USB cable; FinePix Software (CD-Rom); Owner's Manual (CD-Rom) and User Guide.
