December 7, 2007: Australian developer, Timetale Pty Ltd, has released a new ultra-portable tripod for compact digicams that is small enough to be kept folded in a wallet or purse.
Available in six colours, it sells for only $5.95 (including postage within Australia). Ridges on the inside edges of the 'arms' can hold different sized digicams at a variety of angles. Once the camera has been put into the tripod's cradle, it is triggered by the camera's self timer. In low light conditions, flash can be used to illuminate subjects and show when the shot is taken. The FOZI tripod can also be used as a media player stand.
