Firmware Upgrade for Panasonic DMC-LX3

January 17, 2009: Panasonic has issued a firmware upgrade for its popular Lumix DMC-LX3 digital compact camera.

The new firmware addresses compatibility issues with the DMW-FL220 flash unit and improves autofocusing performance. It also ensures shutter speeds are set correctly when the camera is used in iA and Scene modes when the O.I.S. stabilisation is turned on. The new firmware and updating instructions can be found at http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/download/LX3/index.html.
