Firmware Updates for Panasonic GF1 and Lenses

November 26, 2009: Panasonic has released firmware updates for its Lumix DMC-GF1 camera body and five Micro Four Thirds System lenses.

Firmware V. 1.1 for the DMC-GF1 offers improvements to the cameras focusing systems, including the Manual Focus Assist function and autofocusing in movie mode. It also provides improvements to auto white balance performance. The lens updates also provide improvements to autofocusing in movie mode, including an extension of AF support to cover the Full HD mode with the 14-55mm and 45-200mm lenses. The following lenses are covered by the new firmware updates:
- H-FS007014 - Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH
- H-FS014045 - Lumix G Vario 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH MEGA OIS
- H-FS045200 - Lumix G Vario 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 MEGA OIS
- H-H020 - Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 ASPH
- H-VS014140 - Lumix G Vario HD 14-140mm f/4.0-5.8 ASPH MEGA OIS
