December 3, 2009: Pentax has released Firmware Update Version 1.01 for the recently-released K-x digital SLR camera.

The new firmware adds three pre-set effects to the Cross Processing shooting function. It also allows the Cross Processing function to be assigned to the green button and improves the accuracy of the Battery Level Indicator under specific conditions. Overall stability is also improved for general performance. Firmware Update Version 1.01 can be downloaded from http://www.pentax.jp/english/support/digital/k-x_s.html.
