Synthesis Photography Exhibition

January 21, 2009: Synthesis is a new exhibition at Fairview ArtSpace by Mudgee photographer, Christopher Wright, which opens on 21 February.

Many of the forty images on display are scanographs, which utilise a flat bed scanner to scan three dimensional objects to record the final image. Incorporating found objects such as flowers, leaves, feathers and pebbles the photographs range from multiple images on a jet black background, to pale objects on white so delicate that they appear to float off the print. The exhibition runs from 21 February to 29 March at the Fairview ArtSpace, corner of Cassilis Road and Henry Lawson Drive, Mudgee. For details, phone (02) 6372 2850.
