SBS to Profile Aussie Photojournalist

July 5, 2010: SBS One will screen a documentary profiling Australian photojournalist, Philip Blenkinsop, at 9.30 pm on 8 August.

The award-winning documentary, titled "My Asian Heart" was filmed by David Bradbury showing Blenkinsop's experiences as he journeys through various cities and jungle areas in Asia. Known in the business as a ‘concerned photographer', Philip Blenkinsop sets out to expose human rights abuses and forgotten wars in south-east Asia. A regular contributor to magazine like The New Yorker and Paris Match, he has become one of the world's top war and conflict photographers and won important prizes like Amnesty International's Best Photographer of the Year Award and the Prix SCAM Roger Pic, the highest honour in photojournalism.
