Photo Exhibition: Life on top of Hyde Park

February 16, 2009: Life on top of Hyde Park is the debut solo exhibition of photographer, Pete Longworth, which opens in Sydney on 26 March.

The exhibition is a result of nine weeks' work in the heart of Sydney, focusing on capturing the
romance, beauty and elegance of Hyde Park and its surroundings. It includes images that range from amusing to reflective and passionate. Pete Longworth is a documentary photographer and teacher who travels to Asia for Curtin University in Perth teaching photography to international students. Longworth, a finalist in Head-On 2006 and winner of the Greenpeace Photographic Prize, works commercially in portraiture, property and travel.

Longworth's images can be seen at The Residence, Level 17, 18 College Street (opposite Hyde Park) from 26 March to 5 April. The gallery is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
