August 6, 2008: Sydney photographer, Warren Clarke will exhibit a series of photographs of amateur boxers at the North Sydney PCYC between 29 August and 28 September.
The confronting images, currently featured in the July issue of Inside Sport, explore the dedication of amateur boxers as they prepare for completion at a state and national level in the hope of securing a berth in the national squad for the Beijing Olympics. The exhibition will be launched between 6 and 8 pm on 28 August at the North Sydney PCYC at 224-230 Falcon Street. Proceeds raised on the night will fund the continuing infrastructure of the North Sydney PCYC and the support of local up and coming talent within the sport.
