January 21, 2009: Hair of the Dog, the annual convention of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), opens at Queensland University of Technology's Creative Industries Precinct in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane on 7 February.
The annual convention, which closes on Monday 9 February, will feature international speakers and provide the venue for a trade show of the latest photographic equipment and accessories plus imaging software. Irish fashion photographer, Barry McCall, will be a keynote speaker. He will be joined by Australia's own AIPP Canon APPA Professional Photographer of the Year, Mercury Megaloudis, who will also host a series of workshops. For further details, visit www.hotd.com.au.
