November 11, 2008: Winners of the annual Canon EOS Photo5 competition have just been announced.
The competition, which this year attracted more than 10,000 entries, challenged photographers to create winning images from a selection of five everyday objects. Voting by the Australian public closed at midnight and the 10 winners were announced today. The Photo5 judges shortlisted five finalists per object (in both professional and amateur categories) for the public to choose from and were overwhelmed with the amount of creative talent in Australia. The winners will receive their share of the $50,000 prize package.
