Black Sun (the Art of Dying) Exhibition

January 14, 2009: Photo-media artist, Ben Ali-Ong, will be exhibiting a collection of works from his on-going Black Sun series at China Heights Gallery in Sydney from 21 February.

The exhibition explores themes of mortality and consciousness by sandwiching negatives and the use of inscription and scratching within the image itself.  It will be on display in Sydney at the China Heights Gallery, 257 Crown Street, Darlinghurst, until 25 February before touring interstate to the Queensland Centre for Photography and the Brisbane Powerhouse. The Sydney gallery is open from 12 noon to 5 pm, Saturday through to Friday.
