AIPP Exhibition Opens in Launceston
April 29, 2009: Award-winning images from the Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPAs) go on display in Launceston for three weeks only from Friday 8th May until Friday 29th May 2009.

The free exhibition can be viewed at the Academy Gallery Launceston, Academy of the Arts, Invermay Road, Inveresk before it
continues on its way around the country. In their 32nd year, the AIPP Canon APPA's received a record 2,502 entries recognising Australia's top professional photographers.  The prints were subjected to three gruelling days of judging undertaken by recognised Australian and international photographers.  Entries are individually critiqued and scored via a scrupulous peer-review judging process to determine the highest-scoring prints across the different categories.

For further details and to view winning images, visit www.aipp.com.au.
