July 11, 2008: L&P Digital Photographic is running a series of workshops on lighting, printing and framing next month.
An Intensive Basic Lighting Workshop will be held at the Phase Studio at 96 Reserve Road, Artarmon, on Saturday 2 August. It will run from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and cover the use of flash and continuous light sources in the studio and on location for photographing people and products. Cost is $285.
Master photographers, Bryan Siebel and Stephen Stewart will hold an advanced 'Masters of Light' workshop on Saturday 16 August at the same venue. The workshop will start at 10.00 am and run until 4.00 pm. Cost is $285. Attendees will learn how to use light to create rich and dynamic images and share the secrets of two of Australia's leading practitioners.
Jason Hall from CMYKIT, Abbie Muntz from Fauxpink, and Artarmon Framing will present a Printing and Framing Workshop on Tuesday 12 August between 6.00 and 9.30 pm. Topics covered include colour management, retouching, RGB printing and framing techniques. Cost is $198 or $165 for AIPP and ACMP members.
