My Gear:
Canon 350D and Sony Cyber-shot with a water housing

Inspirations:
I love water, the beach - anything near or in the ocean. Other photographic artists such as: John Witzig, Tim Donnelly, Shane “Monkeyfoto” Myers, Peter Eastway, and Neil “Moonwalker” Armstrong.

Aspirations:
I would like to look at taking some water sport shots, surfing, etc. Maybe one day a job in the print media.

My First Photo:
I used to take a lot of pictures on holidays when I first went overseas but really didn't think about what I was doing; point, shoot etc. The first photograph I really thought about and used a manual setting for was of a sunset on Longreef Beach, in February this year.

About This Picture:
WalkwayThis picture was taken of the Narrabeen ocean pool, there are sodium lights at nearly all the northern beaches pools that create an orange light. I adjusted the white balance which made everything really blue. The shot was taken just as there was some light on the horizon.

The Way Out – This picture was taken on the rock platform between Narrabeen and Turimetta beaches, the gap is actually only a metre or so wide and is the drain for the ocean pool.
